The Jungle Snack-White is probably the most underrated and underutilized fly in my collection! It catches everything! Yes its simply white with a touch of green…the perfect baitfish pattern. What species doesn’t attack a beautiful small baitfish?! Make sure to order a couple of these
The Jungle Snack is a trout inspired yet jungle tuned and ultra durable fly that is 5 inches long with two ultra-sharp Kona XSS 3/0 hooks connected with 40 lb wire line. This double hook setup will drastically improve hookup rates for smaller jungle fish with unusual mouths like Sardinata and Pacu.
Slightly weighted with dumbbell eyes the Jungle Snack can be fished with a floating line or sinking line for a multitude of species including Sardinata, Bicuda, Matrinxa, Pacu, Pirhana, and yes even Payara AND Catfish! Peacocks also will smash this fly but due to the way they swallow the fly I highly recommend debarbing or using my KingFisher fly when exclusively targeting Peacocks.
