There are dozens of species in the jungle! Yep, even catfish, lol. Matrinxa are super fun so consider bringing some foam cicada/hopper patterns. Often they hang out with Silver Dorado too. There are also Parayein, a close albeit smaller cousin to the Payara. And of course the famous pest of a fish known as the Piranha, which will ruin your fly real quick! Anytime your line is in the water, you never know what you could catch! Yes I now bring a spinning rod for some catfish opportunity. 100lb line on that!
